Kim Doran
is a writer of poetry, self care and short stories. She is a former Private Investigator and uses her experiences in that career in her writing which is raw and straight forward, yet hopeful that better days are coming. She is a cancer overcomer, has strong faith and is active in mentoring ministry of women and young adults within her community. She is also a vocalist, loves to cook and spend time with her family. Kim's books are filled with real life situations and lessons learned offering hope and healing.

Packing Away What's Holding Us Back
We were blessed to do this study in a small group with Kim, the author, officiating the group. It's an amazing journey of taking inventory of our lives in certain appointed areas that can be holding us back from our best life. The tangibility of packing away areas of our lives that can be stumbling blocks, is refreshing and freeing. Kim expounded on the chapters through her experiences which provided more inspiration to pack away what might be holding us back.

A Suitcase Made to Hold More Than Enough
This book is is a life changer it reminded me to put all the unwanted extra negative emotional baggage in a special suitcase and let God take the Handle. How much lighter my life is. Something for Everyone
This is the 3rd book I've purchased from this author and I have to say, this is my favorite. Her writing gets more and more raw and really resonates with you. I was really moved by a few of the poems and felt like I knew the subject. If you are into poetry, I really recommend this book. If you are not, I still recommend it, you will be moved, you will feel connected and you will relate to some of the subjects.

It Touches the Soul
Kim heard me share my testimony at an event and asked if she could interview me and share my story in her poetic format. What an amazing reading. I cried as I read my own testimony.
